To understand our target audience better, we went onto interviewing induviduals who already used a walker/rollator and those who are in need of one to understand better.

Design planning and Ergonomics
The journey of creating Sahai began with meticulous design planning. We started by conducting extensive research, talking to users of mobility aids, and observing how they interact with traditional rollators. This process helped us identify the core issues—bulkiness, limited portability, lack of user-friendliness, and insufficient storage options.
By focusing on these insights, we crafted a product that addresses what truly matters while avoiding unnecessary complexities. Our design planning process emphasized refining key features like portability, compactness, and ergonomic comfort, ensuring every decision contributed to enhancing the user experience.
Ergonomics played a central role in the development of Sahai. We carefully designed the adjustable handles, lightweight yet sturdy frame, and foldable structure to ensure the rollator fits into everyday life. Whether it’s the ease of use, effortless maneuverability, or the ability to fold and store it in a car, every element was thoughtfully crafted to prioritize user comfort and convenience.
Additionally, Sahai includes a cleverly integrated storage space, allowing users to carry their essentials with ease—making it perfect not only for home use but also for travel and outdoor activities.
